Week Two: Basic Laws Part I

Ohm's Law
       - describes the relationship between the current, voltage, and resistance.
       - states that the voltage across a resistor is directly proportional to the current.

  Formula for Ohm 's Law:

A Funny Picture Explaining the Ohm's Law:

Resistance
        - ability to resist current.

If  R=0:

If R= Infinity:

REFLECTION:

During our laboratory activity, I was able to name some of the electrical tools used in my professional course. Some of the materials were heavy to lift. The main purpose of our activity was to familiarize us with the fundamental laboratory equipment and components. In achieving our goal, we will be able to determine their significance. In the end, the importance of having basic knowledge regarding this matter was to avoid us from perilous situations that derive from ignorance.
